The battle of Stiklestad, where King Olav fell, is one of the most famous battles in Norwegian history. At Stiklestad, these histories and events are told and seen every day.

One thing is for sure: History has never been boring at Stiklestad!
Our storytellers take you on a exciting journey back in time where history is demonstrated by exciting plays and dramas. We offer many activities and experiences for both children and adults throughout the year.

Stiklastadir
Both artisan and storyteller are present. They gladly demonstrate the old crafts and tell stories about the farm and its exciting history.

The Saint Olav Festival at Stiklestad has quickly become one of Norways biggest festivals. In 2008, we will once again invite visitors to enjoy a varied festival which will include concerts, activities for children, popular lectures, the Olsok Exhibit and the Saint Olav Drama.

The Saint Olav Drama
Scandinavias biggest and oldest open-air theatre. Experience the dramatic scenes at Sul Farm, just days ahead of the battle at Stiklestad.

Afterwards, the whole family can enjoy a local and traditional gourmet-dinner at Stiklestad Hotel.
