The Falstad Centre - situated in Ekne in Levanger municipality.

About 4500 prisoners were held at SS Strafgefangenlager Falstad from 1941 to 1945. Approximately 220 of these were executed in the Falstad Forest near by. Today, the Falstad Centre is a national memorial and human rights centre.

We recommend you to visit the new museum at Falstad, showing photos of the horrible actions that took place there. The Falstad Centre also have good conference facilities, as well as a great restaurant. We offer as wel accommodation in singel or duble rooms.
