If you want to get to know this region's culture (The Trønder culture), the Vømmølfestival is the right place to start. People dress up in their Vømmølcostumes and participate in parades - it's madness - it's crazy - and always accompanied by the famous Vømmøl music.

The Vømmøl festival takes place end of may/beginning of june
